Assessment of Knowledge and Osteoporotic Risk among Post-Menopausal Women

Abstract

A research study entitled “A study to assess the knowledge and osteoporotic risk among post-menopausal women at Sahakar Nagar in Bangalore” was conducted. to assess the knowledge and osteoporotic risk among 352 post-menopausal women selected by Purposive sampling technique. The instruments used for data collection were Clinical & demographic variables, structured knowledge questionnaire andosteoporotic risk assessment instrument.Majority 234 (66.5%) had poor knowledge and most of them 295 (83.8%) had low risk of osteoporosis.
