Online Published on 26 October, 2023. Abstract Distress can reduce the quality of life of cancer patients and lead to poor clinical outcomes. An Experimental Study was conducted to Assess the Effectiveness of video assisted yoga therapy upon the selected physiological variables of cancer patients through pre and post assessment. By using the purposive sampling technique, 35 cancer patients admitted at Selected Cancer Centre, Chennai who fulfil the inclusion criteria were selected data was collected from them. The Instruments used for included Modified stress questionnaire and yoga rating scale. The level of stress was assessed before and after yoga therapy for 5 consecutive days given as 2 sessions on each day with an interval of 6 hours between each session. The mean level of stress in cancer patients was high (M=117.17,SD =11.45) before yoga therapy it was found to be less (M=63.49,SD=14.28) and after the yoga therapy and statistically significant at p <0.01 level.
