The myth of primary market

Abstract

The present paper is an attempt to throw some light on the actual returns generated through investing in the Primary market. As it is fact that the investor in the Primary market invests with two basic kinds of returns. One is in the form of the dividend declared by the company yearly and the other is to earn in the form of capital gains. In the present paper, an attempt has been made to focus on the motive which has been fulfilled by the investments made in the Primary market. The topic chosen, to see its accuracy and authenticity in the Primary market and also it is felt much strong, in the corporate sector, finds ample oppor tunities to make the investment plans. Hence it becomes very important to explore the reasons behind the investments being made in the primary market by the retail investor i.e. Capital Gains or the Dividend expectation. Overall this paper focuses on the Returns generated through the dividend how is being declared by the companies. Factual prepositional trends with projections methods each aspect has been discussed.
