In this paper we discuss the development of an inventory model for fast growing animals like duck, pigs, broiler etc. in poultry farm, high-bred fishes are these types of items. They will increase in value due to their growth and decrease in value due to feeding expenses and diseases. Here the model is discussed for both ameliorating and deteriorating items with constant demand under the influence of inflation. The EOQ is determined for minimizing the average total cost per unit time. The result in illustrated with numerical example.
