Customer want to have the waiting time in the system as minimum as possible that is queue length should be small. To monitor the average queue length of the system through control charts, in this paper control limits are established. Construction of control chart for random queue length N is done using method suggested by Haim Shore and also using Nelson’s power transformation. The performance of these two control charts is compared using the performance measure ARL. It is observed that using these control limits, the performance of the system may be improved.
