Abstract A Quasi experimental study was conducted to evaluate the effectiveness of magic therapy on level of anxiety among 30 hospitalized school aged children. Quasi experimental non randomized control group design was adopted for the study. Pretest and posttest level of anxiety was assessed with facial anxiety scale. 30 children were selected using slovin's formula and 15 children with anxiety were allotted into study and 15 children in control group. Un paired ‘t’ value was 5.54 which was significant at p<0.001. It showed the effectiveness of magic therapy in reducing the level of anxiety.
