Effect of Planned Teaching Program on the Knowledge and Attitude of School Teachers towards Child with Learning Disability Rita K. Mary Principal, Jenny's College of Nursing, Tiruchirappali. Online Published on 26 October, 2023. Abstract Teachers play an important role in overall development of the child especially in their intellectual and academic growth. In accordance to this the investigator attempted to evaluate the knowledge and attitude of school teachers towards child with learning disability. Pre experimental (one group pre, post- test) design was adopted. 230 teachers selected by using purposive sampling technique. The findings of the study concluded that the post- test knowledge level and attitude of the teachers have been improved after the teaching program which suggested that the planned teaching programme was effective in influencing the knowledge and attitude of the teachers towards child with learning disability.
