Effect of temperature and pH on growth and sporulation of colletotrichum truncatum causing anthracnose of soybean Singh Ramesh, Singh B.K. Department of Plant Pathology, C. S. Azad University of Agriculture and Technology, Kanpur-208002 Online published on 20 September, 2012. Abstract Colletotrichum truncatum was grown at nine different temperature and twelve pH levels ranging from 5°C-to 40°C and 3.5 to 10.0 pH. The optimum temperature and pH for growth of the fungus were found to be 28°C and 6.0. Whereas, theminimum growth of the fungus was recorded at the temperature or 5°C and pH 10.0.
