Abstract Sequential rules mining is one of the most important fields in data mining. There are so many algorithms developed to mine the sequential rules in large data bases. Most of these algorithms are the variants of the apriori algorithm. But all these algorithms that so far developed fall in their performance and throughput when they applied on to huge databases consisting of large datasets. A high end computing framework is required in order to process the large datasets to mine more effective sequential rules. Grid computing is an excellent solution to adapt these sequential mining algorithms and to achieve the better performance and effective throughput. This paper proposes a standard grid computing frame work for mining sequential rules using grid gain tool. Top Keywords Data mining, grid computing, and sequential mining, high performance. Top |
