In future the world must transform its current energy system on a global scale. It is expected that 60% of all our energy will come from renewable energy by the year 2070. Renewable energy R&D provides the pathway for new solutions with a steady flow of technological advances. New concepts and systems are emerging that demonstrate the importance of renewable energy as the new source of power for the future.
