Aims and Scope


Indian Journal of Developmental Disabilities is a bi-annual research journal designed to publish original research, theoretical papers and critical reviews on various aspects of developmental disabilities.

The aim of the journal is to publish articles on education, service, community oriented services as well research related to children with developmental disability, following methodologically sound approach. Our aim is to publish cogent, relevant and most current research already completed or ongoing.

The Journal accepts contributions from any where in the world. hey must be written in acceptable and correct English, avoiding technical jargon as far as possible.

IJDD emphasizes on the practical application of scientific findings, prospective contributors should keep in mind that acceptance of a manuscript for publication will depend to a great extent on its direct relevance to education, rehabilitation and work which gives prudential insight into the issues related to special needs and special education in its varied situations.
