Online published on 21 January, 2012. Abstract Khejri tree leaves contained 14.20°/CP, 2.98°’ EE, 21.68% OF, 52.83% NFE 8.31% total ash and 2.50% tannins on DM basis. The dry matter intake by sheep was 2.23±0.10 kg/100 kg live weight. The digestion coefficient of crude protein was 1.27±4.35. The amount of urine excreted by sheep was 286.06±70.78 ml/head/day. The loss in live wei :ht was 1.68± 0.21 kg/head in a period of 32 days. There were flaky sediments in urine of experimental animals. AH the sheep developed ascites after 30 days of feeding. Top | |
