College students and politics

Abstract

Students are an important factor in making the society more informed, dynamic and progressive. Students take admission in educational institutions for education. The overwhelming nature of political power is expressed in the student body. Students’ expressions, their behavior, dissatisfaction, activism try to express their relationship with the political system. Citizens of a technical country are expected to be politically aware and politically involved. Students cannot remain aloof from politics. Through which the relationship between the leader and the follower is proposed. That is called leadership. Elections to the University Student Council have been started on the basis of merit and the participation of students in the elections to the University Student Council has decreased. Elections are an integral part of democracy. Sovereignty is an integral part of democracy. In India, the student movement is considered a serious problem in the form of education and politics. The leadership of a personality like the late Jayaprakash Narayan instilled in the students and youth the moral and positive direction. We miss Jai Prakash Narayan today.
