Abstract

Women’s under representation in top education sector is an eternal social issue. A new approach to understanding the lack of higher level gender diversity by investigating how India’s laws on equal employment opportunity support women in education sector is considered in this article. The data is draw from UGC reports, university websites and research websites. The data reflects the reasons of underrepresentation of women in higher position and pay gap.
