Abstract A total of 15 isolates of Altemaria altemata obtained from pomegranate were tested against carbendazim. It was also tested against leaf extract of 15 medicinal plants, out of which Azadirachta indica, Adhatoda vasica, Terminalia chebula, Terminalia Billerica, and Chrysanthemum indicum showed PCE from 60.12 65.85%. When the plant extract was mixed with carbendazim, PCE against Alternaria alternata increased. Azadirachata indica leaf extract mixed with carbendazim showed 78.33% PCE.
