Abstract

The micropropagated plantlets of Albizia lebbeck established very well and showed good growth on AM inoculated soil. Roots of older plantlets showed presence of both external and internal hyphae with well formed arbuscules and vesicles confirming mycorrhizal association. The mycorrhizal association thus helped in successful establishment of in vitro regenerated plantlets of Albizia lebbeck in field conditions by alleviating transplantation shock.
