Abstract Attempts have been made to study the effect of sodium chloride salinity on seed germination and early seedling growth in Jowar (CSH-5), Bajra (MBH-11 0), Wheat (HD-2189), Maize (African tall), Gram (Phule-G5) and Pigeon pea (T-21) to find out the critical limits of degree of salinity which may not affect adversely the germination, and to know the relative tolerance of crops to chloride salinity in vitro. Top Key words Soil salinity, Seed germination, Chloride Salinity. Top |
