Influences Gender on Adjustment among Adolescents Mahmoudi Armin Department of Studies in Education, University of Mysore, Mysore, India. Abstract In the present study an attempt is made to see whether male and female adolescents studying in standard 9 differ in their level adjustment. A total of 100 adolescent students studying in Mysore city were randomly selected. They were administered Bell's Adjustment Inventory (1968) (which measured adjustment of an individual in 4 areas-Home, health, social and emotional). Independent samples‘t’ test was applied to see the differences between male and female students.
