Abstract The exercise of using Online-collaborative-assignments amongst various flipped engineering chemistry classrooms was analysed for their influence on the learners. This intercession is intended for maintaining the subject topic proficiency, assisting for student's communiqué through chemistry graphics, examples and expressions assist materialization of professional exclusivity and shore up the growth of approval for chemistry as a fascinating subject. A mix of various methods theory comprising interview, reflections by students and questionnaire session were used for evaluating the effect of online collaborative assignments. Students discussed and explained their understanding of OCAs through chemistry learning, improved self-confidence, engaged learning and professional individuality.
