After the studies and recommendations of National Education Commission (1964–66), NPE-1968, NPE-1986, Chattopadhyaya Committee Recommendations (1983–85), The Curriculum for The Ten Year School: A Framework (1975), NCESE-1988), National Curriculum Framework for Secondary Education (NCFSE-2000), National Curriculum Framework (NCF-2005), NCFTE (Draft for Discussion) 2006, NCFTE (Draft for Discussion) 2009, finally (National Curriculum Framework for Teacher Education) NCFTE-2009 were prepared to implement the teacher education.
