Abstract Anterior cross bite is a malocclusion resulting from the lingual positioning of one or more maxillary anterior teeth in relationship to one or more mandibular anterior teeth. If not intercepted and treated early, it can lead to premature wear of the teeth, asymmetrical development of the jaws and is aesthetically less appealing. As this kind of malocclusion does not diminish with age, anterior cross bite correction in early mixed dentition is highly recommended. A variety of treatment modalities have been suggested for the management of anterior cross bite. This paper presents three cases with anterior cross bite treated with different approaches. It was observed that the results obtained from bonded inclined plane and Catlan's appliance were little faster than Hawleys retainer with auxiliary spring and posterior bite plane after gaining sufficient mesiodistal width for cross bite correction.
