Abstract

The Preservation and Retention of primary teeth that are pulpally involved in a healthy state for the proper alignment of permanent teeth is very important. If the radicular pulp is vital and shows no signs of inflammation, then pulpotomy i.e. the removal of coronal inflamed pulp is the procedure of choice. Different medicaments have been used for pulpotomy in primary teeth. This article presents a case of MTA pulpotomy in a primary molar. Three months after the procedure, the clinical and radiographic outcome was favourable.
