69. Curbing Commercial Losses in Delhi

Abstract

The basic principle behind loss reduction is that the authorities have to maintain nominal voltages at all levels on definite loads at optimal power factor in order to keep the technical losses at the minimum. In case of Delhi, losses between 12 to 14 per cent should be acceptable.
