Effectiveness of structured teaching programme on knowledge regarding milestone development of infant among post-natal mothers

Abstract

Every child in the world deserves good health. The study was done with one group pretest and posttest design among 30 post-natal mothers between 18-35 years of age. The level of knowledge was assessed using structured questionnaire method. The result revealed that, the calculated paired ‘t’ value t=43.24 was found as statistically significant at p<0.05 level. The study findings concluded that there was a statistically significant difference in the knowledge after the structured teaching programme regarding milestone development of infant among postnatal mothers.
