Abstract Pre menopausal symptoms occur in every woman in the age between 40–55 years. Women were unaware about the symptoms and its management. This study is to promote the knowledge level of the pre menopausal women and to practice everyday activities to improve the quality of life and preventions of such symptoms. Quantitative research approach with quasi experimental design was used for the study. 60 premenopausal women selected by using non probability convenient sampling technique. Out of which 30 were in experimental group and 30 were in control group. The Pre-test was conducted for the both group by using structured interview questionnaires. Self instructional module related to premenopausal symptoms and its management was administered to the experimental group and post-test was conducted 7 days after the implementation of the self instructional module for the both groups. From the finding, the study concluded that the SIM (self instructional module) found to be most effective in improving the knowledge regarding premenopausal symptoms and its management among women.
