Abstract An experiment was carried out to evaluate fifteen vegetable Amaranth genotypes collected from various agro-climatic regions of India for their performance and stability at three locations in Kashmir valley during Kharif 2019. Pooled analysis of variance for stability of genotypes for the quantitative traits revealed significant differences among the genotypes and environments for all the traits studied. The genotype x environment interaction component was also significant for all the traits. The genotypes SKAU-A-1, SKAU-A-9, SKAU-A-10 and SKAU-A-17 were found to be stable for yield and most of the traits. These genotypes could be recommended to farmers for cultivation after further testing and evaluation. Top Keywords Genotype x environment interaction, Stability, Vegetable Amaranth. Top |
