Abstract

Cholesterol is one of the most significant components of all eukaryotic cell membranes. Cholesterol isa hallmark of eukaryotes and evolved as an adaptation to increase in atmospheric oxygen. Recentresearch revealed that cholesterol is not a nutrient of concern for over consumption. The reportdiscussed the role of cholesterols in heart attack. All the facts suggest that cholesterol has been a highly misunderstood molecule and is actually highly beneficial to the human body.
