Abstract Mutations were induced in six barley varieties [K-169 (Vulgare), K-272 (Vulgare), DL-281 (Vulgare), EC-312415 (Vulgare), EC-31241.8 (Distichum), and EC-312425 (Spontaneum)] by gamma rays (10, 20, 30, & 40 Kr). Four Different Kinds of chlorophyll mutants were observed in M2 Generation. Mutation frequency is not constant with increase In mutagenic treatments.
