The principal tools for regression analysis, which are studied here, are Ridge regression, VIF method and Shaprio-Wilk test. Later, the significance of Lasso Regression Technique has also been examined to study the dependency of response variable with the explanatory variable. Secondary data are used for 32 district of Rajasthan. Data were from the Primary Census Abstract, Census of India 2011 (www.rajcensus.gov.in) and Basic Statistics 2003, 2007 and 2013 Department of Planning, Directorate of Economic and Statistics Rajasthan, Jaipur (http://statistics.rajasthan.gov.in) and Annual health Survey 2011–12 Fact Sheet Rajasthan, Vital Statistics Division Office of The Registrar General & Census Commissioner, India New Delhi (www.censusindia.gov.in).
