Publication Ethics & Malpractices Statement

Journal of Management & Public Policy (JMPP) follows the ethical standardsespoused by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).

JMPP makes all efforts to uphold highest standards of publication ethics and prevent all sorts of academic malpractices such as plagiarism.

JMPP does not to charge any processing fee or publication fee.

Manuscripts are selected for publication entirely on the basis of content and intellectual contribution without any prejudice.

Manuscripts are evaluation on the basis of their scholarly and intellectual content without having regard to the nature of the authors or the institution including gender, race, religious belief, ethnic origin, citizenship, or political philosophy of the authors.

Authors are expected to present accurate account of their research work without fudging or falsifying the data, citing the sources out of context, plagiarising or violating the copyrights of other authors/publishers knowingly or inadvertently.

Authors are expected to present the raw data for editorial review, if required.

Authorship of any work should be limited to those who have actually made intellectual contribution.

The corresponding author as well as all the co-authors must have consensus on the final version of manuscript before submission.

Acknowledgement section should include all those who have substantially contributed in the research work in terms of discussions, data collection, interpretation, etc.

Authors are expected to disclose sources of funding if any and conflict of interest.

Authors are required to send an undertaking that the paper is an original contribution and has not been published or submitted simultaneously to other journals.

Authors are required to correct the errors which are found during the process of review.

The editors/reviewers are expected to exercise care and ensure that they have no conflict of interest with respect to the articles they accept/reject.

The editorial and publishing team follow strict confidentiality and are required not to disclose any information about a submitted manuscript to anyone other than the corresponding author and reviewers.

Reviewers are expected to evaluate the manuscript in all fairness and disclose any conflict of interests before accepting the assignment.

The reviewers are expected to identify relevant published work that has not been cited by the authors. Parallels or overlaps between the manuscript under review and any other published paper of which the reviewer may have personal knowledge, may also be brought to be attention of the editors.

The reviewers are expected to maintain absolute confidentiality with regard to the contents of manuscripts.

The information or ideas obtained during the review process are of a confidential nature and must be kept private and not used for own benefits by the reviewers.

Peer-Review Policy Statement

Every paper received by Journal of Management & Public Policy (JMPP) is subjected to double-blind review. Reviewers are drawn from the academic fraternity having significant scholarly reputation based on the theme of submitted research papers.

Names of reviewers and authors are kept confidential.

The reviews are steered objectively and the referees are expected to articulate their views clearly with supporting reasons.

The reviewers are expected to identify relevant published work that has not been cited by the authors. Parallels or overlaps between the manuscript under review and any other published paper of which the reviewer may have personal knowledge, may also be brought to be attention of the editors.

The reviewers are expected to maintain absolute confidentiality with regard to the contents of manuscripts.

JMPP follow a fast track review procedure so that the contributors receive information regarding rejection, improvement or selection within eight-ten weeks.

Selection of research papers/articles is invariably based on originality, relevance, clarity, and application.
