Abstract

The advent of a new era of machine learning and artificial intelligence (AI). Transformative era in the realm of library services. This paper provides an overview of the profound impact that AI and ML technologies have had on libraries, emphasizing their role in revolutionizing traditional library functions and enhancing user experiences. AI and ML have empowered libraries to streamline their operations, automate repetitive tasks, and make data-driven decisions. The study highlighted on function of cataloging and classification of resources, thereby making it easier for users to discover relevant materials. Using Natural Language Processing (NLP) techniques, these chatbots can comprehend and interact with users in a more human-like manner and this study looks at AI and ML have played a pivotal role in digitization efforts, automating the process of digitizing and archiving historical documents and rare collections.
