Tea drinkers live longer: A Brew For the Brain

Angela Betsaida B. Laguipo is a nurse by profession and a writer by heart. She graduated with honors (Cum Laude) for her Bachelor of Nursing degree at The University of Baguio, Philippines. She recently completed a Master's Degree where she specialized in Maternal and Child Nursing and is now working as a clinical instructor and educator in The School of Nursing at the University of Baguio.

Abstract

Green tea, native to China and India, has gained immense popularity for its health benefits. Now, there are more reasons to drink green tea, as scientists found consuming tea at least three times a week could help reduce the risk of premature death, living a longer and healthier life. Research also suggests that habitual tea drinking improves one's brain structure.
