Abstract

Soybean (Glycine max.) grown for three years from 1968 to 1970 produced maximum yield when kept weedfree upto 30 days after sowing. Keeping land weedfree longer than this did not increase the grain yield significantly. Weeds reemerged in plots kept weedfree up to 15 days after sowing.
