Abstract The study reports heamato-biochemical alterations in naturally occurring Babesiosis in 100 dogs based on clinical signs exhibited like pyrexia, anaemia, tick infestation, anorexia, lymphadenopathy pale/icteric mucous membrane. A total of 24/100 cases were confirmed positive with Babesia infection by PCR. Haematological analysis of all 24 positive samples revealed a significant decrease in haemoglobin, PCV and TEC while a significant decrease in platelet count when compared to the control healthy group. Biochemical analysis revealed a significant increase in alanine aminotransferase (ALT) and serum creatinine and a non-significant decrease in total protein.
