Factors of global warming and its effects on the environment Moqimzai Omid* Department of Agronomy, Agriculture Faculty, Faryab University, Faryab, Afghanistan *Corresponding Author: moqimzaiomid@gmail.com
Online published on 3 February, 2021. Abstract Global warming is the name given to a phenomenon that has led to an average rise in the Earth's temperature and ocean surface. Over the past 100 years, the Earth has become abnormally warmer by about 0.74 degrees Celsius, which has worried scientists. Some scholars believe that the last decades of the twentieth century were the warmest years of the last 400 years. Reports indicate that 10 of the warmest years in the world were recorded from 1990 to 2007 alone, the highest level in 150 years. Industrial activities seem to be very effective in creating this problem and have a valuable contribution to global warming.
