Online Published on 30 June, 2023. Abstract In today’s virtual world, the Internet has become an integral part of commerce, banking and communication. Internet banking is gaining popularity because of the convenience and accessibility of transactions at high speeds and service levels, which was unimaginable even a decade ago. The current research paper focuses on consumer awareness about e-banking systems in Villupuram district, Tamil Nâdu, India, with a special focus on consumer awareness. Primary and secondary sources were used to compile data for this study. To meet the objectives of the study, a self-designed, structured questionnaire was adopted to collect responses.
