If it is carried out without supervision, there can be serious complications which may lead to serious consequences. Despite legalisation of medical termination of pregnancy (MTP), people resort to self-administration of abortive pills without pre abortion check-up. This leads to increase in maternal morbidity and mortality. We are reporting a case of self-administered abortion pills in a patient which presented as incomplete abortion and was later diagnosed to be a case of molar pregnancy.
