Online Published on 04 August, 2023. Abstract Prefabricated glass fiber posts have been used to improve the long-term functionality of endodontically treated teeth. They have shown high success rate as they have properties comparable to that of dentin, are aesthetic, less invasive, less costly and more practical in clinical practice. But since they have standardized sizes, they sometimes do not correspond well with the shape of root canals. So, in such cases, it can be relined with composite resin or resin-based glass ionomer cement for its intimate adaptation to the root canal walls, thus optimising its properties. We report two cases describing prosthetic rehabilitation of severely damaged teeth using customized pre-fabricated glass fiber post followed by core build up and crown.
