Online published on 19 April, 2024. Abstract The present study was conducted to find out the adoption of weather based agro-advisory services (AAS) in Jammu district of union territory of J&K. A sample of 100 AAS farmers were selected by using simple random sampling technique.The results revealed that majority of the AAS farmers adopted Basmati-370 (55%), Kanchan-517 (80%) and Supar-27 (70%) varieties and seed rates of paddy, maize and bajra respectively. Majority of the AAS farmers applied urea, DAP and MoP in paddy, maize and bajra crops. Majority of the AAS farmers applied herbicides in their crops and was 87 per cent, 60 per cent and 55 per cent respectively in paddy, maize and bajra crops respectively.
