Abstract

India adopted a new economic policy in 1991. With many changes, the search for some bold and innovative strategy for development began. Shri Mursoli, Minister of Commerce of India died in 2000. He was convinced that the Special Economic Zone (SEZ) policy was responsible for the prevalence and speed. He felt that the same policy could change in India as well. In India too, under the leadership of Dr. Manmohan Singh, Commerce Minister Kamal Nath backed the Communists’ decision. The Act, passed in 2005, came into force on February 10, 2006. Increase in employment, development of infrastructure for non-productive production, increase in exports, acquisition of foreign exchange, etc. The use of this farm has helped India's economic development to some extent but their objectives do not seem to have been fully achieved. Tej does not seem to have created a lot of jobs. The project has been ridiculed in many quarters. The agricultural sector and its dependents should not be ignored. Increasing production through agriculture in the interest of the masses will benefit the economic development of the country.
