Performance of pearl millet hybrids/varieties in semi-arid region of Rajasthan Singh Srikant A.K., Mathur O.N., Singh Y., Rohitashwa Millet Scheme, Agricultural Research Station, Rajasthan Agricultural Universiity, Campus Durgapura, Jaipur-302 018, India Abstract Eight hybrids and four varieties were evaluated for their comparative performance. Hybrid MLBH-285, RUB-58 and XM-631 gave significant higher grain yield than the best check MH-169, whereas, the varieties Raj-171, ICMV-221 and Pusa-266 gave more grain yield than the Check ICTP-8203. Hybrid GHB-15 produced highest number of effective tillers per plant. The hybrid performance was better as compared to the varieties studied. Top | |
