Abstract The efficacy of certain insecticides and biopesticides was evaluated against rice stem borer, Scirpophaga incertulas (Wlk.) at MBAC, Agwanpur, Saharsa from July to November 2019. The observations showed that the least dead heart and white ear incidence were 17.77% and 21.49%, respectively, after 20 days of treatment with Emmamectin benzoate 5 SG @ 220 g/ ha.
