Abstract An experimental trial was conducted to evaluate the management practices of mustard aphid, Lipaphis erysimi (kalt.), during Rabi season 2021-22 at Bundelkhand University campus, Jhansi (U. P.), India. During the study, mustard aphid, Lipaphis erysimi (Kalt.) was the major pest found infesting this crop in Jhansi area of Bundelkhand region. Field experiment was laid out in a randomized block design (RBD) with three replication and nine treatments. The treatment were, T1 = Beauveria bassiana (5%), T2 = castor oil (5%), T3 = Neem oil (5%), T4 = NSKE (5%), T5 = B. thuringiensis (5%), T6 = Garlic extract (5%), T7 = Panchagavya (5%), T8 = Karanj oil (5%), T0 = Untreated control. Each plot consisted of (2 × 2.10) m2 with 60 plants/plot (spacing RR 40 cm × PP 15 cm). Field experiment showed that the highest reduction of Lipaphis erysimi (Kalt.) was achieved in NSKE (5%). Experimental results revealed that the plant treated with bio-pesticides registered a significant difference of mustard aphid, L. erysimi over the treatment of untreated control. Among them, the treatment of NSKE (5%), (5.73 aphid/5 plant) was found significantly more effective against the test pest as compared to other bio-pesticides. whereas Garlic extract (5%), were found moderately effective against mustard aphid, L. erysimi.
