Online published on 28 October, 2022. Abstract The paper presented here is based on the research focussing primarily on a study of food habits and nutritional status of Jains of Lucknow. To study this, I have collected 130 samples of males, 140 females and 201 children (92 boys and 109 girls), through which I want to find out the dietary habit, body constitution, nutritional status of males, females and children, and the relationship between food-related practices and physical well-being. For this finding, I used various methods like sampling rapport establishment, interview schedule and observation. After analysis, I found that Jains of Lucknow are vegetarian, they take proper and balanced diet and usually prefer to eat plain food. Maximum females and children drink milk daily and do exercise daily. I didn#x2019;t find any gender discrimination related to food in Jains of Lucknow. So, because of having a healthy, fresh and nutritious diet, Jains of Lucknow are healthy, and no one male, female and children are malnourished. Maximum 50% of males used to take 2,500-2,600 kcal/day, mostly 53.57% of females take 2,000-2,400 kcal/day, and among the Jains Children of Lucknow maximum 44.56% of boys and 36.69% of girls used to take 2,000-2,200 kcal/day.
