Online published on 8 June, 2021. Abstract Introduction A serious Burn Injury is a catastrophic event. Great progress has been mode in increasing effectiveness of treatment related to development of better understanding of path physiologic effect of burns. How to care a burn patient after an post burn phase by their care givers is not still understood clearly. Aims of The Study To assess the effectiveness of a self instruction module on knowledge regarding management of burn patient, among their care givers. To check association in relation to socio demographic variables. Materials and Methods A one group pre-test post-test design was used to accomplish the objectives of the study. a self structured questionnaire was used to as tool with a sample of 30 selected by non probability purposive sampling. Major Findings There was a significant increase in the knowledge level of participants after providing the SIM. Pretest mean score was 19.5 and Post test score of 29.5. No association was found with any socio demographic variables. Conclusion (SIM) was found to be powerful in increasing the knowledge level of the care givers of burn patients regarding Management of Burn Patient.
