Abstract The aime of the present study is to develop some groups norms for mathematics anxiety in high school students of India. The final effective sample size was 1200 students And mathematics anxiety scale (karimi and venkatesan, 2008) conducted to sample group. The procedure of normalization of scale including assessing the norm of mathematics anxiety scale for total students in two genders and separated norms between boys and girls. This process held on in two separate phase: Phase 1, Planning: Include conducting a literature review about Mathematics anxiety. Identify the exist mathematics anxiety scales and study about the designed scale for Normalization. Phase 2, Normalization: contains assessing the norm of mathematics anxiety scale for total students in two genders and separated norms regarding to differences between boys and girls. The results of the study are presented by suitable norms of the scale used in the schools and psychological activities. Top |
