Abstract

One of the majority common mental disorders that at its worst can lead to suicide is the depression. Curable stage of depression is diagnosing which is very significant. Alcoholism and sleep disorders are also the depression disorders. In this project, publicly available database is used to get Electroencephalogram Gram (EEG) signals processed in MATLAB. This can be useful in classifying subjects with the disorders using classifier tools present in it. For this goal, the features are extracted from frequency bands (alpha, theta and delta).
