Smart Farming System Using SMS

Abstract

In India Agriculture is the primary occupation. So there is a scope for improvement in the field of farming. This project comprises of Arduino controller. This is designed in such a way to sense the humidity level of the plants and if required water then supplies water to plant. This system is used for general plant care, as part of caring for small and large gardens. Usually, the plant wants to be watered so; the microcontroller has a program to supply water the plants concerning two times per day, morning and evening. A prototype of this system is self-sufficient of watering itself to plant from the large water tank and the system status of current level of humidity and if the water tank is low level then alert send to the farmer to refilling a water tank. The system automation is designed to be assistive to the farmer.
