Abstract Robotics is one of the fields where there are abundant growth and innovation. Now and then many new design methodologies and innovative advancements of robotic systems are being proposed and formulated. Research is being done on the development of robots capable of handling firefighting operations in emergency situations. This paper discusses the design of a locomotion system which would help in the better movement of the robot. The circuitry of the stated locomotion system and its operation is explained. The proposed biped system is built, and the walking process of the robot is analysed. The result of the analysis is provided justifying the proposed design.
