Abstract

Biggest challenge in power system restoration from blackout is power plant Generator start-up module. This paper focuses on optimal generator start-up strategy for power system restoration using two step algorithms. It was processed by virtual instrumentation. It was simulated to the south region of Andhra Pradesh state, India as it consider as Blackout area. This result shows how it recovers from the power system restoration then it shows the system data for before restoration and after restoration.
